Tasha's Pecan Banana bread image

This is my recipe for Pecan Banana bread .. taken from other recipes and tweaked just the way i like it!

Number Of Ingredients 12

1/2 cup(s) butter (softened)
1 cup(s) brown sugar
3 medium bananas
1/2 teaspoon(s) vanilla
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
2 cup(s) flour
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 teaspoon(s) honey
1/4 teaspoon(s) all spice
1 cup(s) chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325. Grease a loaf pan (when I made mine I double the recipe and get a loaf pan and 12 muffins out of it.)
  • Mash Bananas
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until creamed.
  • Beat in eggs
  • add vanilla and honey
  • add mashed bananas
  • in a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and all spice. Gradually add this dry mixture into creamed mixture and mix well. (batter should be thick)
  • Stir in chopped pecans
  • Pour into greased loaf pan
  • Bake at 325 for 70-80 minutes (if making muffins they take about half the time)
