I REALLY dislike bottled Tartar Sauce from the grocery store .... but loved the one from my favorite seafood restaurant!! So, I put my "taste buds" to work and came up with this recipe. I always serve this along with my fried shrimp, crawfish, crab cakes, and MY FAVORITE ... fried catfish!!! I've also used this as a spread on ...

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 c mayonaise, (blue plate)
2 Tbsp salad dressing (miracle whip)
1/8 c sweet pickle relish (mt olive)
1 1/2 tsp sugar, white granulated
1/2 tsp parsley flakes, dried
1/4 tsp onion powder

Steps:

  • 1. In small bowl, combine all ingredients, and mix thoroughly.
  • 2. Store in refrigerator. Make at least 2-4 hours before using, to give the flavors time to blend. It's really best if made the day before!!!!
