SWEET POTATOES WITH BANANAS image

THIS SWEET POTATO DISH IS SOOOO GOOOOD. GUARANTEE IT WILL GET GOOD RATINGS AT HOME AND OUTINGS.

6 medium-sized sweet potatoes
1/8 c brown sugar
1/8 c butter
1/8 c cream
2 small or 1 large banana sliced

Steps:

  • 1. PEEL AND COOK SWEET POTATOES TILL TENDER. MASH AND ADD CREAM AND 1 TBLS. OF SUGAR AND BUTTER. MIX THOROUGHLY.
  • 2. ARRANGE 1/2 THE SLICES OF BANANA AROUND THE EDGE OF A BUTTERED CASSEROLE. FILL THE CASSEROLE UP WITH THE SWEET POTATO MIXTURE AND TOP WITH REMAINING BANANAS. SPRINKLE REMAINING SUGAR AND BUTTER ON TOP. BAKE AT 400 FOR 30 MINUTES.
