Sweet potato casserole is a delicious side dish for Thanksgiving or Christmas. This easy recipe is sweet and savory. Many sweet potato casseroles have a marshmallow topping, but not this one. Brown sugar, butter, and pecans are combined for the perfect topping. It caramelizes while baking and really makes the dish.

Steps:
- 1. Pudding: Blend/mix potatoes, melted butter, milk, sugar, eggs, spices, and flavoring.
- 2. Grease a 2 quart baking dish and pour sweet potatoes into the baking dish.
- 3. Prepare the topping. In a small pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over low heat.
- 4. Add brown sugar, nuts, and flour to butter mixture. Stir.
- 5. Then add 2 tablespoons of water.
- 6. Spread topping on top of the sweet potato mixture.
- 7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
