Sweet Cranberry Scone image

I like scones but a little sweeter then normal.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cup(s) all purpose flour
1 cup(s) sugar
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1 stick(s) butter
3/4 cup(s) milk
1 cup(s) frozen cranberries

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine all the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Cut butter into pats over the flour mixture, then combine with a fork or hands until butter resembles fine bread crumbs, Add milk, blend in with a fork. Now add the cranberry's place the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Form a circle about 1 inch thick. With a floured knife cut 12 pieces starting from the middle forming a wedge Place the scones on an ungreased baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven set at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Place on wire rack to cool.
