SUPER SHRIMP DIP image

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened (regular or lower fat Neuchatel cheese)
1 Cup mayonnaise, regular or light
1/2 Cup green onions, finely chopped
2 4-oz. cans broken shrimp (or ½ lb. of your favorite shrimp, cooked and chopped)
1/2 tsp. CHESAPEAKE BAY SEASONING (CAJUN SEASONING would also be good)
1/4-1/2 tsp. salt, to taste
1/4-1/2 tsp. PENZEYS FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER, to taste
dash BERBERE (optional), to taste

Steps:

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl using an electric mixer, blender or food processor until smooth. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours. It tastes even better if made a day before serving. Serve with crackers. If you like spicy, it's good with a little BERBERE sprinkled on top.
