- 1. Place barbecue sauce and apple pie filling in crock pot and mix. Add pork, making sure pork is well covered. Cook on medium for seven hours. Adjust amount of sauce and time based on size of meat. Serve as meat entree or sandwiches. Leftovers can be shredded for sandwiches or left in chunks and should be stored in refrigerator or frozen.
