These sweet and lemony Super Bowl wings will be flying off the platter as soon as you put them out..You and your guests will quickly devourer them in no time flat- so be sure to make plenty..they are fast and easy to make too...Tried these out today as a trial run OMG I should have made 2 bags full-LOL -I could not stop eating...

THESE INGREDIENTS ARE FOR 1 BAG DOUBLE OR TRIPLE FOR PARTY:
1 c soy sauce, low sodium
1 c pineapple juice
2 tsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 bag(s) (3 pound) chicken drummettes( fresh or frozen wings)
3 oz package lemon jello (-use dry)
2 Tbsp sesame seeds or garlic granules

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 350^. Line a jelly roll pan with non stick foil( 15x10x2-inches or some appropriate size for your batch). Set aside.
  • 2. In a large bowl microwave safe bowl, combine the pineapple juice, soy sauce and brown sugar,cook 30 seconds to dissolve the brown sugar and butter. Add the wings and let set for 15 minutes. Stir a few times to coat well. Then place the wings in a single layer on the prepared pan or pans. Pour 1/2 cup of the marinade over the wings, then sprinkle 1/2 the dry lemon jello over them; bake for 30 minutes. Turn drummettes over and sprinkle with remaining jello and the sesame seeds; then bake for about 30 more minutes; until nice and golden brown..
  • 3. NOTE: any flavor jello and juice can be used that compliment each other.. peach jello- peach nectar or juice lime jello and lemon lime soda orange jello and orange juice cherry jello and cherry juice etc....
