Sunrise Cherry Pie image

Sweeten your day with this fruity and delicious Sunrise Cherry Pie. It would be hard to get an actual sunrise into a cherry pie, but this Sunrise Cherry Pie recipe calls for the next best thing: adding crushed pineapple to the filling and a dollop on top.

1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling, divided
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple, reserving 2 Tbsp. juice. Mix cream cheese, vanilla and reserved juice until blended. Add 1/4 cup pineapple and 1 cup pie filling. Stir in COOL WHIP.
  • Spoon into crust. Top with remaining pineapple and pie filling.
  • Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
