Sunday Brunch Bake image

this is a great brunch dish and it is easy

12 large eggs
1/3 c breakstones sour cream
1 lb pork sausage
1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
1 pkg (8oz) kraft finely shredded triple cheddar cheese
2 medium tomatoes, chopped

Steps:

  • 1. beat eggs and sour cream with whisk until well blended. pour into greased 13x9 inch baking dish. bake 10 minutes or until egg mixture is softly set.
  • 2. meanwhile, cook mushrooms and onions in a large skillet on medium heat 6-8 minutes or until sausage is done, stirring occasionally. drain.
  • 3. reduce oven temperature to 325. spoon tomatoes over egg layer, cover with sausage mixture and cheese.
  • 4. bake 30 minutes or until center is set.
