Steps:
- Several hours ahead of time you can cut up the fruit and mix it together in casserole and put in frig. When ready to serve turn on the broiler and take the rack you will be using out. Whip enough cream to well cover the top of the fruit. If a lot of liquid has settled you can drain it off before adding fruit. Shave chocolate over the top so the cream is mostly covered but not densely. Can leave in frig a few minutes if you want to, but not long enough for cream to collapse. When ready to serve put casserole on cool rack under the hot broiler. Watch carefully! Take out as soon as chocolate begins to melt and serve.
