Stovetop Stuffing Chicken Bake image

My new favorite easy dinner came from the back of the StoveTop Stuffing canister. I'm doing this from memory: Freezes well after it's baked.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 - chicken breast, cubed, raw **or**
2 - pork chops, boneless, cubed, raw
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup (or any cream soup will work)
1/2 cup(s) milk
1 cup(s) cheese, shredded (any kind you like)
1 can(s) green beans, juice drained **or**
1 cup(s) chopped frozen broccoli
2 cup(s) prepared stuffing mix **or**
- crushed crackers

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together **except for the stuffing or cracker crumbs** and put in a 9x13 casserole dish.
  • Top with 2 cups of stuffing prepared as on cannister (with a bit of water ). You could also used left over dressing/stuffing from the holidays. I have used crushed Cheese Nips instead of the stuffing. Ritz or any crushed crackers would do.
  • Bake 30-45 minutes or until bubbly.
  • This is super easy and everyone loves it. Very flexible to change up the meat, soup, cheese and even the topping.
