Sticky Chicken image

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 - chicken filets, trimmed
2 clove(s) garlic, minced
2 tablespoon(s) soy sauce
1 tablespoon(s) honey
1 tablespoon(s) five-spice powder
1 tablespoon(s) peanut oil
2 tablespoon(s) sweet chili sauce

Steps:

  • Place chicken into a ceramic dish in a single layer. Combine soy sauce, honey, garlic and five-spice powder. Pour over chicken. Turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Meanwhile, heat a frying pan over high heat. Add peanut oil. In frying pan, cook chicken, in batches, for 1 minute each side or until golden.
  • Transfer to a baking tray. Brush with marinade. Bake for 5 minutes or until just cooked through.
  • Brush on sweet chili sauce. Return to oven for 2 more minutes.
