Steamed Brown Rice image

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 cup long grain brown rice
1 3/4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon vegetable soup mix fat free
1/4 cup parsley chopped (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Wash rice and place in steamer insert. 2. Add water, soup base, and chopped parsley. 3. Cover and set steamer for 45 minutes. 4. When steaming is complete, allow rice to set 5 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
