SPINACH PESTO

Spinach Pesto image

This is perfect for Pasta, Pizza, Spread on Bread or crackers......I have also used to make whole wheat pita pizza-spread on pita and add mozzarella cook in oven until cheese melts...YUMMY!!!!

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

1/2 package(s) fresh baby spinach (cello bag)
1/4 cup(s) parmesan cheese
1/4 cup(s) pecans, in pieces
1/4 cup(s) olive oil, extra virgin ( use more if you need)
3 tablespoon(s) chicken broth( i use to replace some of the oil)
4 clove(s) garlic, chopped
pinch(es) salt
1/8 teaspoon(s) black pepper

Steps:

In food processor (I use mini processor) add spinach and garlic process till chopped;
add pecans, cheese, broth, salt and pepper process then add olive oil until smoothe paste....
