Spicy cheeseburger pizza image

My son-in-law made this up one day for a football game/party. He made it w/ ground beef though. It tastes just as good w/ the ground turkey, just a little healthier.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 pound(s) ground turkey breast
1/2 pound(s) lite or reduced-fat velveeta cheese, cut into 1/2"-cubes
1 - 12" boboli pizza crust or other ready-made, baked pizza crust
1 - 10 oz can diced tomatoes w/ chilies, drained
1/4 cup(s) ketchup
1 cup(s) shredded lettuce

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400. Lightly spray a lg baking sheet or pizza pan w/ cooking spray made w/ olive oil. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray, place pan over med-high heat.
  • Brown ground turkey in skillet. Stir in velveeta cheese until melted. Place pizza crust on pan.
  • In small bowl, mix together tomatoes and ketchup. Spread mix over crust. Top w/ meat and cheese mix. Bake about 10 min, or until heated through and slightly brown. Top w/ lettuce.
