Steps:
- Heat a deep pan or a large pot over medium heat. Add in oil and heat for 10 seconds. Add in garlic, onions and rice and sauté until rice starts to turn golden. Mix together the broth, tomato sauce and water. Pour the liquids into the hot pan very slowly with the rice, being very careful of the stream and liquid that may spatter up. Stir to combine ingredients. Reduce heat to low and bring the liquids to a simmer. Cover the pan and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered for 10 more minutes. When you remove the lid, the liquid should be absorbed into the rice. Remove lid (be careful of any remaining steam) and use a spoon to fluff up the rice. Serve immediately.
