My late best friend's sister Anna gave me this recipe years ago. It is the easiest Spanish Rice I ever made and the tastiest!

Steps:
- 1. Put some oil in a frying pan, about 4 tablespoons. When hot stir in your uncooked rice and let brown until its a golden brown, stirring to prevent browning.
- 2. When rice is golden stir in your onions until soft.
- 3. Add chili powder and mix well.
- 4. Add chicken broth, tomato sauce, and if needed enough water to cover the rice by about 1/4 inch over the top.
- 5. Bring to a boil, turn burner to low and cover the pan with lid or tin foil. Let cook on low till all the liquid is absorbed about 20 minutes or so.
