Southern Skillet Corn image

As soon as fresh corn was available, skillet corn was on the stove. Grandma Katherine cut many a cobs off and froze the skillet corn for winter. To freeze, do step one and two. Bag and freeze. Do not add the milk and flour. You will do that step when preparing to eat.
