When we were growing up we had either biscuits or cornbread with every meal. We didn't live in town so Mom made the bread that we ate with our meals. She didn't measure anything but this is as close as I can get to her recipe.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 450 F.
- 2. Mix all dry ingredients together in mixing bowl.
- 3. Mix wet ingredients together in separate bowl.
- 4. Combine dry and wet ingredients and stir until mixed well.
- 5. Pour into round cake pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.
- 6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
