Sofrito Mac n' Cheese image

Give your next mac and cheese a south-of-the-border appeal by serving it sofrito-style. That means peppers, onions, garlic-and even more cheese!

2 pkg. (7-1/4 oz. each) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup chopped green olives
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup KRAFT Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Prepare Dinners in large saucepan as directed on package. Meanwhile, cook peppers and onions in skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat 3 min. Add cilantro, olives and garlic; cook and stir 5 min. or until vegetables are tender.
  • Add sour cream and half each of the vegetable mixture and shredded cheese to prepared Dinners; mix well. Spoon into 1-1/2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining vegetable mixture and shredded cheese.
  • Bake 10 min. or until heated through.
