Smoked Turkey Tetrazzini image

If you have a lot of leftover turkey, this is a great way to use those leftovers!!

Number Of Ingredients 12

12 oz fettuccine
2 Tbsp margarine or butter
2 Tbsp chicken broth
8 oz sliced fresh mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
3 Tbsp flour
1 tsp freshly ground pepper
1/4 tsp hot sauce
3 c milk
2 - 3 c diced smoked turkey
1 c dry white wine or chicken broth
1/2 c freshly grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Cook pasta according to directions; drain. Heat oven to 400 degrees. In a skillet on medium high heat, melt margarine; add broth, mushrooms and onion. Cook 7 - 10 minutes or until softened. Gradually stir in flour, pepper, and hot sauce until smooth; add milk and cook, stirring constantly, 6 - 8 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in turkey and wine. Layer a 9 x 13" baking dish, coated with cooking spray, with half of the pasta, turkey mixture and cheese. Repeat layers. Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden. ENJOY!!
