Slow-Cooker Meatball Sandwiches image

Put frozen meatballs and ready-made spaghetti sauce in the slow cooker in the morning-and come home to a glorious meatball sandwich filling!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1-1/2 cups CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1 lb. frozen fully cooked meatballs (20 meatballs)
1 red pepper, cut into strips
1 onion, sliced, separated into rings
6 sandwich buns, partially split
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese Blend

Steps:

  • Mix first 3 ingredients in slow cooker. Add meatballs and vegetables; stir gently until coated with sauce. Cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours (or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours).
  • Fill buns with meatball mixture and five cheese blend just before serving.
