Slow Cooker Beef and Creamy Potato Casserole image

An easy to make delicious dish which layers potatoes, green beans and ground beef in a slow cooker for a mouthwatering meat and potatoes meal.

1 lb ground beef, browned and drained.
1 can(s) (10 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg (12 ounces) frozen cut green beans
1/2 c milk
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can(s) (2 ounces) french-fried onion rings
4 c (30 ounces) bag frozen country style shredded hash brown potatoes
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 c shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Stir in soup, milk, pepper, half of onions, garlic powder with browned and drained ground beef.
  • 2. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Layer potatoes and green beans in cooker. Top with beef mixture; spread evenly.
  • 3. Cover, cook on low heat 4-5 hours. Top with cheese.(optional) Top with remaining onions before serving. Can use cream of chicken soup or cream of celery soup instead of cream of mushroom soup.
