I've been making this for years...sometimes using ground beef, or italian sausage or the favorites in our house of ground venison or elk! (from a Quick Cooking recipe)

Steps:
- In skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
- Transfer to a slow cooker. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until well heated through.
- Discard bay leaf and serve over hot, cooked spaghetti of your choice!
- I often double the recipe!
