Simple Chicken Potato Soup..... image

This is a very easy recipe to make and great on a cold winter's night.One of my favorite's

Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 c saute chicken
1/2 medium onion-chopped
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
3 to 5 large russet potatoes-cubed or red potatoes cubed.
6 1/4 c water
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 can(s) (12 ounce) can evaporate milk
1 can(s) whole kernel corn

Steps:

  • 1. Saute Chicken... In a 4-quart soup pan. Saute onion and butter until onion becomes transparent. Add potatoes,water,salt, and pepper and bring to a boil. Gently boil potatoes for 15 minutes, or until tender. Reduce to low heat. Stir in Chicken, corn and milk. Cook on low for an additional 5/10 minutes. Garnish with Cheddar Cheese.
