This is everyday Arabic rice that is used to eat with stews and such. I grew up eating this with just simply plain yoghurt or chopped tomatoes over it.

Steps:
- 1. Fry the vermicelli in butter on low until golden.
- 2. Add remaining ingredients.
- 3. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. .
- 4. Cover & simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is tender & water is absorbed.
