Simple Apple Cake from Scratch image

I was wanting something different for a dessert and went into the kitchen and came up with this recipe. It is so good!!! Please, try it and let me know how yours turns out. My Husband and I could not wait for it to cool before we were eating it...

Number Of Ingredients 11

11/2 c all purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp apple pie spice
1 tsp cinnamon, ground
2 large eggs
1/2 c milk
1/4 c apple juice
3 small apples, your choice
2 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • 1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees, prepare a 6x10x2 dish with baking spray or butter and flour. In one bowl, whisk all dry ingredients together.
  • 2. In one bowl, whisk all dry ingredients together. In another bowl, whisk/stir all wet ingredients together. Combine the dry and wet ingredients and mix well. Add diced apples, mix well.
  • 3. Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees for approx 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean and cake is golden brown.
