Number Of Ingredients 11

2 lb unpeeled large fresh shrimp
2 green onions, sliced
3 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
1 pkg cream cheese, cubed, 8 oz.
1/4 c milk
1/2 c Shredded swiss cheese, 2 oz
1/4 c dry white wine
1 dash(es) ground red pepper
1/4 c fine dry bread crumbs (store bought)
2 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
12 oz dried angel hair pasta

Steps:

  • 1. Peel shrimp. Devein in desired
  • 2. Cook green onions in 3 Tbsp. butter in large skillet over medium heat til tender. Add shrimp. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or til shrimp turn pink, stirring occasionally Remove shrimp with a slotted spoon
  • 3. Add cream cheese and milk to skillet; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, til cheese melts. Stir in Swiss cheese and wine. Add shrimp and red pepper; cook, stirring constantly just til heated. Pour shrimp mixture into a lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mix breadcrumbs and 2 Tbsp. butter; sprinkle over casserole. Broil 5 1/2 inches from heat 3 to 5 minutes or til golden. serve shrimp mixture over hot cooked pasta. Makes 6 servings.
