- In a small saucepan, combine the first 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2-3 minutes or until slightly thickened. Remove from the heat and keep warm., Place the pork, shrimp, basil, bread crumbs, garlic, soy sauce and pepper in a food processor; cover and process until finely chopped. Shape into 12 oval patties; insert a skewer into each patty., Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 3-5 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear. Serve with sauce.
