SEASON'S EGG & SAUSAGE CASSEROLE -- HEALTHY VERSION image

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 cups egg beaters egg substitute (8 eggs)
2 cups skim milk
1 lb low-fat sausage
1 tsp dry mustard
6-8 slices whole wheat bread (cubed)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
12 tsp season salt
12 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp pepper
4 ozs green chilies (optional)
12 cup onion (diced optional)
12 cup celery (chopped optional)

Steps:

  • 1 Brown the sausage and drain fat. 2 Beat eggs with milk, salts, pepper, mustard. Stir in bread, sausage and cheese and optional items. 3 Pour this mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. 4 Bake for 45-50 min at 350 degrees.
