Sauteed Squash and Zucchini image

Want an easy summer side dish that uses zucchini and summer squash? Give this sauteed squash and zucchini one a try. Dill weed is the secret ingredient that adds a sweet and savory flavor to the dish. The squash and zucchini soak up flavor from the butter too. It's a super simple recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 small squash
3 small zucchini
1/4 c butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 1/2 Tbsp dried dill weed

Steps:

  • 1. Cut the squash and zucchini into slightly thick slices.
  • 2. In a large skillet over low-medium heat melt the butter.
  • 3. Once the butter has melted add the squash and zucchini. Saute for about 10 minutes or until tender. Add your salt and pepper. Toss lightly to mix in.
  • 4. Next, add the dried dill weed and mix well. Continue to cook for 7~8 more minutes. Remove from heat and enjoy!
