SAUTÉED BRUSSELS SPROUTS WITH PROSCIUTTO image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup thinly sliced sweet onion
2 ounces chopped Prosciutto di Parma
6 cups thinly sliced Brussels sprouts
1 teaspoon lite soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 cup chicken broth

Steps:

  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and Prosciutto and sauté about 4 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from skillet. Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and sauté for about 2 minutes. Add onion, Prosciutto and remaining ingredients and cook about 5 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated, and the Brussels sprouts are still crisp. "Do ahead" note: This recipe can prepared 2-3 hours ahead and reheated jut before serving. Add a little more broth if necessary.
