Sausage and Cream Cheese Filled Crescents - Dee Dee's image

These sausage/cream cheese filled crescents were a most requested treat for any potluck, party or food related gathering we had at work. I have since retired, but still love this recipe. This is not my recipe but a friend and former co-workers recipe. We always requested that she make these yummy filled crescents for any food...

Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 12-ounce roll regular breakfast sausage, browned & drained
1 8-ounce pkg. philadelphia cream cheese, room temperature
2 cans (8-ounces each) pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Steps:

  • 1. Brown and drain breakfast sausage. Combine sausage and cream cheese.
  • 2. Unroll crescent rolls and seperate triagles. Spoon about 1 heaping tablespoon of mixture onto each triangle. Roll up crescents from the widest part to the point of the triangle.
  • 3. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. NOTE: I prefer using a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees about 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 4. NOTE: Need more, double the recipe. Need less, half it. Enjoy!
