Saucepan Brownies image

This is the moistest brownie recipe! Compliments abound when it is served.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 stick butter (8 tblspns)
4 oz un-sweet chocolate squares
1-3/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 c all purpose flour
1 c chopped pecans (or walnuts)

Steps:

  • 1. Oven 350*, rack centered
  • 2. Melt butter over low heat.
  • 3. Turn off heat, add chocolate and stir occasionally until melted and combined. Set aside to cool slightly.
  • 4. Stir in sugar and salt.
  • 5. Add vanilla and eggs, one at time, mixing well after each addition.
  • 6. Stir in the flour until just incorporated.
  • 7. Fold in nuts.
  • 8. Pour into 8 x 8 lightly greased, non-stick pan (or foil lined.) Bake 30-35 minutes.
