SALMON CORN CHOWDER image

Yield 6-8 cups

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 cup diced potato
1 cup diced carrots
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 can (13oz) evaporated milk
1 can/10oz of corn
parsley

Steps:

  • Melt butter in sauce pan. Saute onions, celery and garlic until soft. Add potatos, chicken broth and seasonings. Simmer covered for 20-25 min until tender. Add leftover salmon, evaported milk and corn. Heat through and garnish with parsley.
