Salisbury Steak Deluxe image

Number Of Ingredients 13

10.75 oz cream of mushroom soup, condensed
1 Tbsp prepared mustard
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp prepared horseradish
1 egg
1/4 c dry bread crumbs
1/4 c onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1.5 lb ground beef
2 Tbsp oil
1/2 c water
2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
pepper to taste

Steps:

  • 1. In a bowl, combine the soup, mustard, worcestershire sauce and horseradish; blend well and set aside.
  • 2. In another bowl, lightly beat the egg.
  • 3. Add bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of the soup mixture.
  • 4. Add beef and mix well.
  • 5. Shape into six patties.
  • 6. In a large skillet, brown the patties in oil; drain.
  • 7. Combine remaining soup mixture with water; pour over patties.
  • 8. Cover and cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes or until meat is done.
  • 9. Remove patties to a serving platter; spoon sauce over meat and sprinkle with parsley.
