RUTHS CHRIS SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 12

Crust:
1 c brown sugar
1/3 c flour
1 c chopped pecans
1/3 stick butter, melted
Sweet Potato:
3 c mashed sweet potatoes
1 c sugar
1/2 t salt
1 t vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
1 stick butter, melted (can reduce, if desired)

Steps:

  • 1. Combine brown sugar, flour, nuts and butter in mixing bowl. Set aside. 2. Preheat oven to 350. 3. Combine potatoes, sugar, salt, vanilla, eggs, and butter in a mixing bowl in the order listed. Mix thoroughly. 4. Pour potatoes into buttered baking dish. Sprinkle surface with crust mixture. 5. Bake 30 min. Allow to set at least 30 min before serving.
