Steps:
- Melt butter in heavy pan over medium low heat. Saute onions until soft. Add next 7 ingredients, heat to almost boiling.
- Add cabbage, stir until cabbage starts to wilt. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is crisp-tender, 17 minutes. Add apple and cook 5 more minutes.
