1 1\2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda in 1\2 cup hot water
1 lb. raisins (3 cups)
1\2 lb walnuts (1 1\2 cups)
1\2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Cream together the first 3 ingredients, add the remaining ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees until brown.
