ROASTED SWISS CHARD image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 bunch Swiss chard
1 medium white onion
3 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
4 oz feta cheese, crumbled

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash chard and separate the stems from the leaves. Chop the stems and place in bowl. Chop the onion and add to the bowl. Add 1 Tbs olive oil, salt, and pepper, and stir. Place stem/onion mixture on oiled baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until onion begins to brown. Chop leaves and place in bowl. Add remaining 2 Tbs olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, and toss. Add leaves on top of stem/onion mixture, and crumble feta on top, return to oven for another 15 minutes or until leaves are crisp and cheese begins to turn golden.
