Roasted Cauliflower With Cheese Sauce image

If you love cauliflower this is the dish for you.I like it with just a slice of garlic bread and sometimes a small salad. PICTURE COMING SOON!!!!

CAULIFLOWER:
1 large head cauliflower about 31/4 lbs. trimmed and cut into florets.
6 clove garlic.halved lengthwise
4 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
CHEESE SAUCE:
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
11/2 c 2% milk
1/4 tsp salt
1 pinch ground nutmeg
2 c grated cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Combine cauliflower and garlic in a large bowl.Drizzle and toss with olive oil.While stirring season with salt and pepper.Transfer into a large rimmed baking sheet.Roast at 450 for 30 minutes,stirring once.
  • 2. Meanwhile prepare Cheese Sauce.Melt butter over medium heat in a medium sauce pan (not nonstick)Whisk in flour and cook 2 minutes.Gradually add milk,whisking constantly until smooth.Bring to a simmer,whisking occasionly.Season with salk and nutmeg.Simmer 4 minutes and remove from heat.Stir in grated cheese,whisking until smooth.
  • 3. Tansfer Roasted Cauliflower and Garlic to a platter.Top with Cheese Sauce and serve immediately. ENJOY!!!!!!
