RICH CUSTARD FILLING image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup sifted flour
2 cups milk
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Mix the sugar, salt, and flour in a saucepan. Stir in the milk. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until it comes to a boil. Allow to boil 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat, stir half of mix into a medium size bowl containing 2 eggs +1 extra yolk which are well beaten.
  • Pour back into remaining hot mixture and bring just to a boiling point. Cool, then blend in 2 tsp. vanilla.
