Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 Tbsp cornstarch (more if you want it thicker)
3/4 c cold water
2 Tbsp lemon juice (less if you want it sweeter)
2 Tbsp white vinegar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c seedless raisins i used golden raisins here, other varieties are just fine too.

Steps:

  • 1. I usually do this the last minute as it cooks super fast and is best hot: Blend cornstarch and water in a sauce pan.
  • 2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 3. Cook, stirring until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
  • 4. Keep warm over low heat until serving time.
