1 cup vegetable shortening
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups Raisin Bran cereal
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs, honey and vanilla.mix well.
  • combine flour, soda, salt and add to creamed mixture.
  • stir in cereal, fold in raisins and nuts.
  • drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
  • bake at 350* for 12-14 minutes -- .
