POTATO GORGONZOLA GRATIN image

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 large russet potatoes, unpeeled and thinly sliced
salt and pepper
ground nutmeg
1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium tart green apple, unpeeled, cored and thinly sliced
1 cup half & half
3 ounces Gorgonzola
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 F. Arrange 1/2 potatoes in 8 or 9-inch baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Top with all onion and apple slices. Arrange remaining 1/2 potatoes on top. Season with salt and pepper. Pour milk over potatoes. Cover with foil. Bake 30-40 minutes or until tender. Remove foil; top with cheeses. Bake uncovered 10-15 minutes until lightly browned.
