Portuguese Sweet Bread for Bread Maker image

3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
3 Tbsp butter
4 1/2 Tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp grated lemon peel
3/4 tsp nutmeg or mace
3 cups bread flour
2 1/4 tsp yeast

Steps:

  • Put ingredients in breadmaker's bread pan in the order suggested by machine manufacturer.
  • Set on white or sweet bread, light crust. Press start.
