PLUM GLAZED STUFFED SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS image

Yield 40 mushrooms

Number Of Ingredients 5

40 small shiitake mushrooms, stemmed
12 oz bulk pork sausage
1/2 C Chinese plum sauce
1 T sesame oil
1/2 C chopped fresh chives

Steps:

  • Place mushrooms stem side up on a large baking sheet. Mound each with about 1/2 T sausage. Stir plum sauce in heavy saucepan over med heat until melted. Whisk in oil. Brush mushrooms with all of the plum sauce mixture. Can be made on day ahead. Cover and refrigerate. Preheat oven to 400. Bake until sausage is cooked through, about 15 minutes.
