1 batch your favorite pancake mix, prepared
6 cooked sausage links
6 chop sticks
Oil, for frying (I used canola)
Warm maple syrup, for serving

Steps:

Start by preheating the oil on medium heat to 350 degrees. Pour the pancake batter into a tall glass. Insert the chop sticks into the end of each sausage link. Dip each sausage into the pancake batter so it is fully covered. Gently, slowly, lower the chop stick into the oil. These will only cook for maybe 2 minutes so be sure to not crowd the oil or put them in too quickly, you don't want them to stick together. Remove them from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Serve with warm maple syrup. Enjoy!
