Here is #2 for using up that venison.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 lb venison or ground beef
1 1/2 Tbsp mortons tenderquick salt
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp fennel seed
1 Tbsp crushed red pepper
1 tsp paprika, hot or sweet mild

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all ingredients together. Form into a long stick, diameter the size you want. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours uncovered.
  • 2. Bake at 300º for 1 hour.
